A letter from Santa is a personalised, three-page colour pack that replies to what your child wrote. It costs £9.95, including printing and postage from the UK. The only optional extra is a personalised Santa video for £6.99, with a fourth printed page containing its unique QR code. You preview the exact print pack before paying. The usual payment processing fee is shown at checkout. Video packs are posted once their personalised video is ready.

Page 1: The letterA warm reply from Santa or Father Christmas that answers what your child wrote and uses their own words.
Page 2: The Nice List certificateA certificate with your child's name and home town, checked twice by the elves.
Page 3: Santa's routeAn illustrated map of Santa's route from Reindeerland to their town, with a Christmas Eve checklist.

One optional extra

A fourth page that plays a video

Add a personalised Santa video for £6.99 per child. The pack gains a fourth printed page with a unique QR code. Scan it and a greeting made for that child opens on any phone.

Each video is prepared by hand, so a letter with a video is posted once its video is ready. Standard three page packs are unaffected.

Frequently asked questions

Is the letter really personalised?

Yes. Santa replies to what your child wrote, quotes a phrase or two back to them and works in details you share, such as a pet or a friend. You can read and edit the text before anything is printed.

What does the envelope look like?

The letter arrives in a printed envelope addressed to your child, with Santa's seal on the back. The three pages are printed in colour on quality paper and folded inside.

When should I order for Christmas?

As early as you can. If you choose a posting date, pick a working day well before the last posting date for your service. The last day to order for Second Class delivery before Christmas is shown at the top of this page once confirmed.

Can I choose the posting date?

Yes. You choose the day the letter is posted, not the day it arrives. Dates are working days only, so no weekends or UK bank holidays. You can change or cancel until 8:00am UK time on that day.

Can I see the letter before it's posted?

Yes. Before checkout you see the exact print PDF: three keepsake pages, or four pages if you add the personalised video QR page. The same approved file is printed. The personalised video itself is prepared separately after you order.

Can I write the letter myself?

Yes. The text box is fully editable, so you can rewrite any part or replace it entirely. Santa can also try again up to 3 times for each child.

Can I send one to a child abroad?

Yes. Enter the overseas address and the included service is International Standard. The printed and posted pack costs £9.95. Overseas delivery takes longer, so order early.

Is it suitable for older children or adults?

Yes. You can choose any age from 0 to 17, or a grown-up. The tone can be warm and gentle or funny and playful.

What is the last posting date?

We will show our last posting date for each service here once Royal Mail has confirmed its Christmas 2026 dates. Until then, order as early as you can, because delivery times are targets and not guarantees. Check royalmail.com for the current recommended dates.

How does the personalised Santa video work?

It is the only optional extra, at £6.99 per child. We prepare a personalised video and include a fourth printed page with a unique QR code. Scan it with a phone camera to open the video, without signing in. The pack is held until the video is uploaded and ready. The link is unlisted, but anyone with it can watch, so share it carefully. You can also download the video.

What happens if it gets lost?

Royal Mail delivers most letters without problems, but no postal service can guarantee arrival. If something goes wrong, contact us and we will help.

How is my child's information handled?

We use the details you provide to prepare the letter and, if purchased, the personalised video. We never ask the child for anything. Uploaded letters are removed after up to 90 days. Purchased videos remain available with the order and are removed if the account or order data is deleted. Watch pages have no analytics or advertising trackers. See our privacy policy for details.
